Frequently Asked Questions
1
Do you accept insurance?
We are a self-pay practice and do not accept insurance. This allows us to provide individualized care without the limitations of insurance-based treatment.
2
Do I need a doctor’s referral?
No. Utah allows direct access to physical therapy, meaning you can see a physical therapist without a physician’s referral. If we determine that you need care outside the scope of physical therapy, we’ll help connect you with the appropriate healthcare provider.
3
How long are appointments?
Initial evaluations are approximately 75 minutes, giving us time to understand your history, assess your movement, and develop a personalized plan. Follow-up treatment sessions typically range from 30–60 minutes, depending on your needs and goals.
4
What should I expect at my first visit?
Your first visit includes a comprehensive evaluation and history, followed by a detailed movement assessment. We’ll talk through what you’re experiencing, identify the factors contributing to your symptoms, and create a clear, individualized game plan to help you move forward.
5
Do you work with runners?
Absolutely! Running is a big part of what we do. Whether you're dealing with an injury, trying to return to running, or looking to improve your performance and stay healthy, we can help you build a plan around your goals.
6
Do you treat people who aren't athletes?
Yes! You don't have to be an athlete to benefit from physical therapy. We work with anyone who wants to move better, feel stronger, recover from an injury, or get back to the activities they love.Â
